City stop!

I was extremely excited when I received my train tickets yesterday morning for when I go to Newcastle next weekend to stay with my boyfriend. A lot of my family live up there too although I don't think I will have time to go and visit them. Nether the less, I'm looking forward to spending time with Kyle and having a wander around Newcastle. As part of my media fashion magazine project I need to do some photoshoots, so it's more than likely I will force Kyle to take part in this. (I'll post photos next weekend).

The other day it was my late nannys birthday so we thought it would be a nice idea to set off a Chinese lantern as a mark of respect and celebration of her life! I also stayed at my dads last night so got to see Biscuit (our puppy!) he's so cute. Also I thought I'd share a selfie with you all. However, I do apologise for my lack of make up; I look like a little mouse! I'm desperately hoping it snows tonight, purely because it never does in my town and because I can just spend hours watching it fall out of my living room window. xo

What a turn around...

So today started off absolutely awfully. I literally wish I just slept the whole day; I mean what a performance. First of all, I was awoken at 4am by my drunken boyfriend ringing me which I didn't mind because it was cute! However, I payed for it this morning waking up late and had 6 minutes to get ready, yep you heard right 6... Must be a record - reckon I
deserve a medal. Anyway, then I got to sixth form, had my English Language lesson and walked home. You would think this is all fine and dandy; that is until it started choking it down. Leading me to look like an absolute drowned rat. (As shown in the photo below).

However, although the day started off somewhat tragically, as it progressed it began to get better. There is a new coffee shop in my town (which looked similar to a Starbucks) so me and dad thought we would give it a whirl and I actually really enjoyed it. Anyhow, this time round I felt I had better put a beanie on after being surrounded by the dreary, miserable weather and I felt so much more snuggled.

Laters!xo

winter frost bite!

This weekend was pay day at work, which is obviously my favourite thing ever and I was treated especially well this month, because I worked more hours than normal due to Halloween - meaning more $$. However, being the dreadful person I am, the next day day I intended on going Christmas shopping buuuut you know how it is. There were several items I had my heart set on all month and therefore had to purchase them. I came to an agreement in my head that I would spend half of the money on my self and the rest on buying presents and luckily I stuck to this little arrangement.

First of all I headed to Topshop (of course) and spent a dismal £80 in there all on my self. The picture in the top left shows me modelling some of my purchases. Don't judge me ok, I'm totally into this whole army trend but I refuse to buy a Camo jacket simply because of the stigma attached. I would rather not be referred to as a 'hipster' thank you very much, however I think this plain army print tee deemed more acceptable, as well as keeping on trend. Absolutely loving my spiked necklace which I got in the sale for £3.50, just call me a bargain hunter! Anyways, the shopping trip was successful and I got everything I went for.

Sooo...is anyone else feeling the cold as much as I am. Pretty sure my entire body went numb last night at the fireworks display?! Not impressed. However, i only have my self to blame for not wearing gloves - because don't get me wrong, winter is definitely my favourite season! I absolutely love the whole wrapping up warm and the run down to Christmas. I especially love winter fashion - I genuinely really dislike summer fashion, its so tacky; to me fashion is all about layers and accessories and how can you possibly do that when its sizzling hot? Anyone else get any bargains this week or go to a bonfire?

the before and after shot.

Before                                                               After

Ok, so its not that clear on my 'before' photo how bright my hair actually was, but if you look on my display picture its a berry red colour. Anyway, as I posted previously - I'd been contemplating for a while whether to dye my hair brown as the berry red was far too much hassle. With me previously being a platinum blonde, I found the red faded extremely quickly and looked a little tacky after a while. I really fancied the ombre look (brown hair fading into honey blonde) but in order for the shock factor to not be too much to handle I decided upon going brown and then adding the blonde once I've gotten used to this colour. So the 'after' shot shows the new colour of my hair. When I put the dye on I was instantly regretting it, thinking that with me being so pale that the colour would wash me out. However, once the process was complete, I was pleasantly suprised with the outcome. Although, I'm still not entirely sure what I think to it.

Comments/Opinions/Criticisms anyone, please? :-) xo
