Charlotte Tilbury Haul - Review & Swatches

Morning guys, so a brand I have been lusting after a long time, along with many other beauty lovers out there is of course - Charlotte Tilbury. If you want to indulge in some make up that is seriously luxurious, beautifully packaged and does what it says on the tin, Charlotte Tilbury is your gal' for all them things.

After being lucky enough to receive the Filmstar Bronze & Glow for Christmas, I was on a mission to grab the other items that have been on my wishlist for such a long time. Now, I'll be straight up with you all, Charlotte Tilbury Products are pricey, I'm talking £23 for a Lipstick but if you want a product that works and looks beautiful on the skin then it is totally worth it.

So in this haul you will find close ups and swatches of the following: Filmstar Bronze & Glow, The Chic to Chic Blush, The Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette & The Lip Cheat in Pillowtalk. Intrigued? Then keep on scrolling ;) ....

   Filmstar Bronze & Glow

Ah, my first Charlotte Tilbury purchase. This product is EVERYTHING, seriously. If you're one for contouring then you will love this product. The Filmstar Bronze & Glow has two pans. One for Sculpting/Contouring and one for Highlighting. The contouring shade is perfect, matte and very buildable. You don't need a lot of product for it do the job. I'm as pale as they get and this product works fantastic for me and I reckon it would work a dream on every other skin colour as well. Now lets talk about the Highlighting powder. Basically it has all the attributes you could ever want from a Highlighter. It is finely milled and looks beautiful on the cheek bones, brow bones and down the top of the nose. Just a sprinkle of this highlighter is all that is necessary to create a gorgeous shimmer. This highlighter works well with both matte and dewy foundations but best on the dewy ones because it creates a more radiant finish. I'm fully aware that the Filmstar Bronze & Glow is SO expensive but this product is totally worth the money, I promise you.

The Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette

This Palette makes you feel like a film star, seriously. The Dolce Vita Palette is inspired by sexy Italian actresses where it's all about that light smoke on the eyes, a sun-kissed glow and plump nude lips. If you want to create the full Dolce Vita look then click HERE. The great thing about the Dolce Vita Palette is that you can either do a day time version or a more glamorous one for an evening. I honestly fell in love with this Palette ever since I laid eyes on it and I'm so pleased I finally got it because it's just one of them 'go-to' looks for a super special evening and don't even get me started on the incredible pigmentation on the shadows!

The Lip Cheat In Pillow Talk

Okay so I have heard so many people talk about this Lip Liner and how it makes your lips look fuller and it had me really intrigued. I also saw Charlotte use it in a lot of her make up tutorials. Pillow Talk is a very subtle Liner that supposedly mimics the natural pigmentation on your lips to create fuller lips. I was a bit skeptical at first but I can seriously say this is now one of my favourite Lip products that I own, you can wear it in the day or in the evening and it just looks so beautiful. My favourite combo at the minute is with the Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in the shade Rose Shimmer or the Chanel Levres Scintillantes Lipgloss in the shade Rose Sauvage. I did want to purchase a Lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury but they had have the one I wanted in stock and also I thought I had spent more than enough for one day!!

The Cheek To Chic in First Love

So I actually got this product for my birthday from my Brother & his Girlfriend and I love it! Blushers were never something I reached for until I discovered the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, and of course since then I've been a convert. In fact for work I now opt for a Blusher rather than a Bronzer because I think it is more natural and doesn't take as long to apply - all you have to do is smile and pop it onto your cheeks. So the whole concept of this Blush is that you're supposed to 'Swish and Pop'. You swish round the Shimmery Shade and blend it onto the apples of your cheeks and then you literally dab in the Blusher Brush onto the middle/more brighter shade and pop it onto your cheeks. On the website this shade looks more bronzey but it actually gives a  very Peachy finish and works perfectly with the Filmstar Bronze & Glow!

So it's safe to say I've definitely got my fix of luxury make up for a while now!

What are your favourite Charlotte Tilbury products? What are you desperate to try?
