DIY Christmas - Cookie Mix In A Jar

Morning my lovelies! So, Christmas is fast approaching - we're now on the 12 day countdown and so I thought it was only appropriate to take this opportunity to give you all some ideas for presents that are not only thoughtful, but also won't break the bank. I'll be posting these DIY posts periodically throughout December, so stay tuned!  I actually took to Pinterest to find some ideas and this was one of my favorite ideas...

I think this idea is super cute. Basically all you need is a Kilner Jar, some pretty ribbon, dry cookie ingredients and any little extras you might want to add. First of all, you need to do your research and see what Cookie recipe you think the recipient would enjoy most and then you add all the dry ingredients i.e. flour, sugar, chocolate chips etc into the jar and then add the further instructions on a little gift tag such as 'just add 1 egg and a tsp of water'. To be honest, the world is your Oyster, you can present the jar in whatever manner you like - whether you cover the outside in glitter or layer the ingredients in the jar so they look super pretty, it's entirely up to you. I mean, everyone loves cookies and the good thing about this gift is that it's cheap and it means the recipient can choose when they want to make their cookies.
