What's In My Bag?

Hey lovelies so for today's post I thought I would show you what's inside my bag! Not sure whether it would be something you guys would even care about but here it goes...

So, as you can see the bag is from Ted Baker. I am in love with this bag. If you know me well, you will know that any bags, accessories I normally carry around are Ted Baker, it's just one of my favourite brands. This bag in particular was kindly gifted to me by Alpro and it is definitely my new favourite in my TB collection. It teams perfectly with my Ipad mini case and is just so so perfect for summer. The baby pink floral and translucent sections are right on trend and also right up my street. Funnily enough, I'm never usually one for Florals, they're just too feminine for me and make me feel silly but this bag is just something else and has been on my wish list for quite some time.

Without no further ado, lets get straight on with having a peak inside my bag shall we? PS. I promise I didn't spend ages cleaning the bag or re-arranging it (which is normally the case when I'm doing blog posts!). This is actually how my bag looks, I might have just put on a little filter though it make it a little prettier, ooops!

So generally, in my bag I always keep my Purse & Keys, this is just a standard procedure for me and probably the majority of the population! I also tend to keep a hand cream, lip balm and powder brush in my bag. This is so I can just moisturize my lips and hands throughout the day, because as you can appreciate with my pale skin, I am very sensitive. In the picture above I have a Lush Charity Pot & the Burts Bees Lip Balm, I love this because its really minty and makes your lips feel really cold. I keep a make up brush just to top up through out the day. Sunnies are also a must for a sunny day.

I'm a bit of a rubbish 'beauty' blogger really - I don't even keep make up in my bag, like who even am I?! No seriously the only make up I will ever keep in my bag is usually a lipstick and that's only if I'm on a date night really. I just can't bothered to top up my make up during the day. I probably should though because when I get home I look in the mirror absolutely horrified every single day thinking have I seriously looked like that all day? Oh dear!!

I always carry around some sort of body spray - I swear by the Victorias Secret sprays, they just smell so beautiful and make you feel really refreshed and girly. On a weekend I like to carry around a perfume as well - today I went for a Marc Jacobs one. I am also soooo in love with my little compact mirror from VS that my sister got me for Christmas. I'll be honest, I carry it around with me all the time but never ever use it, my bad.

I like to keep my Ipad Mini with me depending what I'm doing. For example if I'm going to be on a long train journey or if I'm having a coffee it's great just to whip out my Ipad and surf the net, read blogs and catch up on social media.

My weekend in London

Hola! So its probably safe to say I had the best weekend ever. It mainly consisted of eating, shopping, a little bit more shopping and travelling. I have completely and utterly shopped my self out this weekend - thank you London for the lovely weekend and thank you also for giving my bank card a massive battering.

My city break weekend started by going for a leisurely walk into town and grabbing a quick Costa to warm my heart before catching the train to London. I made sure I was more than prepared for the trip  by arming myself with Company mag and  my trusty head phones. Also due to the fact I bought Kyle reems of Wonka Chocolate and other varieties of American Candy - we had a gift bag full of treats to munch on during our journey heading to the big smoke.

Upon arrival at Kings Cross, we immediately rushed onto to the underground and caught the tube to the ever so classy district of London - St Paul's. Since it was Kyle's birthday I booked us in at the Grange St Paul's Hotel which was located right by the St Paul's Cathedral - what a wonderful view. I don't usually do the whole touristy thing as I find it a bit cliche but whilst dragging our cases to the hotel I stopped and caught a snap of the beautiful building.

After arguing with Siri/Google Maps & Kyle on numerous occasions we finally managed to find the hotel. One word - wow. What an utterly cosmopolitan and contemporary building! We could hardly believe our luck when we were escorted to our superior suite. The room was amazing. We even got mongrammed robes and a docking station (jazzy eh!). The main highlight for me was the power shower - it had a waterfall shower head and 3 other components shooting out steaming hot water in every direction, absolute luxury.

As lovely as the hotel room was, unfortunately we spent hardly any time there due to other plans. After freshening up and grabbing a bite at ITSU (awesome sushi, salad and noodle bar) we headed off to Drury Lane to see Charlie & The Chocolate Factory. With this being my first show, initially I didn't really know what to expect, all I'll say is the show more than exceeded my expectations and that you MUST go and see it. It's a real show stopper and made me howl throughout.

On Saturday morning we dragged ourselves out of bed early doors, put on our robes and strolled down to the pool and sauna which was unreal! I would more than recommend the St Paul's Grange, you really do receive  five star services. After that we shot off to Oxford Street of course. We spent far too much money and far too much time in both Nike Town & Victoria Secrets but the main thing is we enjoyed ourselves. Here's a little peek on some of my purchases:

To finish our delightful weekend off we took selfies and tucked into a yummy pork and apple casserole, served with creamy mash and veg & then proceeded to the sofa for a day filled with Keeping Up With The Kardashians and The Great British Bake Off. What a beyond perfect weekend!

City Break: London

Hey guys! It's been a while I have to admit, I've been exceptionally quiet on the blogging front the past couple of weeks but due to unforeseen circumstances with family & work, I've really just not had time to blog. However, not to worry lovely readers - I'll be back on top form on Monday night to share with you all my London Experience. Yes London! I may have forgotten to mention to you all that tomorrow morning I'm whizzing off to London for the weekend as it's Kyles 20th birthday. So I'll see y'all here Monday night to give you a full rundown of the deetz. I'm thinking I may possibly do a mini haul of the items I've bought as I don't really do them sort of posts very often?

Anyways keep checking out my blog as next week I'll be uploading interviews & product reviews. I also have a Missguided sponsored Halloween themed post which I'll be uploading in the near future also (very exciting!!!)
